Northern Division
Yes, if you are a resident of Northern California and whose educational endeavor or project is in the area of public fire education or intended project is to safeguard life and property against the ravages of fire and related hazards. (Northern California shall include all counties north of Kern and San Luis Obispo County and west of Mono and Inyo County.)
Simply request an application from the Foundation by writing or calling. When you receive the application, follow the directions and mail it back with the requested attachments.
Applications are accepted beginning June 1st and no later than December 31st annually. Awards are conferred by March 31st.
When the Foundation receives your application, it is assigned a number. The Selection Committee in evaluating your application uses the number to assure that the application is reviewed impartially. Each application is rated on certain factors including but not limited to:
Successful proposals are ones that meet the intended goals of the Foundation. Other desirable qualifiers include those projects that will be implemented within 12 months from the time of award and which do not exceed $1,000.
