Solution to Problems
A primary goal of the FPO's is to promote
uniformity in thinking among fire prevention
professionals relating to fire protection
policies. The FPO's give you a chance to
get together with other fire prevention professionals
in discuss problems and new ideas that are
arising. Even if you are unable to regularly
attend monthly meetings, you may find the
answers to your problems and information
you need on the web site, or in the monthly
newsletter!
Annual Workshop
The Southern California Fire Prevention Officers
Association (So Cal),and Nor Cal co-sponsors
a week long educational workshop in March
each year. The workshop provides a number
of classes on a large range of topics. The
workshop also provides the opportunity for
committee chairs and members to meet with
their counter parts from in the North or
South; this is particularly important for
committees involved in the code development
and adoption process.
