Discussion on the following topics:

Water Flow Switches – specifically that D.H.S. has been requiring their installation on the test drains of sprinkler risers. It was suggested that NFPA staff be formally written a request for an interpretation as to 1) the need for a water flow switch on the test drain and 2) is there a listed dry pipe flow switch listed?

UL Central Stations – can the alarm monitoring company confirm with the property prior to dispatch? Not if it is a certificated system

NFPA 72 and the SFM – Leslie Haberek of SFM asked for assistance with the (CA) amendments. The existing amendments remain but are new ones needed? If any problems or mistakes are found please contact her at SFM.
