Goals for 2000

Attendees reviewed the proposed list of goals for 2000. No objections were raised; however, due to the lack of voting members, no action was taken for approval. Suggestion was made that the Committee establish ad-hoc committees as appropriate to address the major goals.

Elevator regulations - mid month meeting

A mid month meeting will be held on June 8, 2000, at San Ramon Valley FPB offices, to review the issues with Jim Meyer, Principal Engineer, DOSH.

Flexible piping for sprinkler drops

Larry Larson provided literature for the FlexHead version of a braided stainless steel ceiling sprinkler drop assembly that is now UL/FM approved. The assembly fastens to a plate that is bracketed to the tbar grid for a center-of -tile position. Consult the web site - www.flexhead.com - for more information.

UL has expanded its on line data base with new on line directories for certification and registration information. www.ul.com
