Attendees:

 This committee discussed the following issues:

1. Reviewed the 2001/02 Goals, Objectives and Budget that were approved by the Executive Board at the April mid-month meeting.
2. Discussed tentative Norcal co-sponsorship of ICBO series 300 classes to be held in Sacramento starting in September. The series of 8 classes would be held on consecutive Mondays through November 5^th. (Cost approx. $150.00 each.) More to follow.
3. Reviewed CFSTES certification track for Public Educator Officer series and discussed tentative 40 hour, CFSTES Public Educator class to be held in Fairfield in January 2002.
4. Discussed the need for two phase update of instructor information. Phase one: All members asked to update contact information to CFSTES training courses. Currently the State Fire Marshal’s instructor training list needs updating. Please fill out the attached form and submit. Phase two: notify fire service education committee of your area of expertise. With approval, this list may be used to create special one day workshops. Please send this requested information to Novato Fire Insp. Bill Tyler at btyler@novatofire.org .

• Bill Greene reported that the rewrite for Prevention 1A and 1B curriculum is almost completed.
