This committee discussed the following issues:

1. Discussed the Fire Prevention 2A class currently being held in Contra Costa. Some issues surrounding this class will be investigated and addressed by the committee co-chairs. Our apologies to all the students in this class for any inconvenience.
2. Working on confirming an Aerial Fireworks Display Inspection class in June. This class will hopefully be offered in conjunction with the CSFM’s office and Pyrospectaculars. More information to follow.
3. Will start looking into code classes and certification workshops for the NFPA and the ICC codes. Courses can possibly be offered late fall of 2003 and early spring of 2004.
4. Fire Prevention 2B course to be offered in Vacaville in July. Please see flyer in these minutes to register.
5. Asbestos training courses to be added in September. More information to follow.
