Committee Meeting Minutes

January 23, 2004

Co-Chairs: Morgana Chan (Fairfield Fire Department)

Danielle Stefani (Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department)

1. We met with Rocque Yballa and Dan Najara to discuss an R-2 class. This class has tentatively been scheduled for sometime in August, 2004. Morgana will be the coordinator. They said they would be willing to teach the class in So Cal. Danielle will be talking to the So Cal Co-chairs.
2. Danielle brought up a class on Bio Pharmaceuticals that Jeff Tarter has offered to co-host with NorCal. Danielle will be working with Jeff on this class.
3. We reviewed planned classes and suggestions for other classes we have received. We decided to do a survey of the membership to determine which of the suggested classes would be worthwhile pursuing. Danielle will bring a hardcopy survey to the January meeting and will e-mail Wes a survey to e-mail out.
4. We planned for the report to be given at the January meeting.
5. Danielle and Morgana gave the Committees annual report to the membership. Again, a huge THANK YOU to all the instructors and hosts!
