HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SUBCOMMITTEE

January 26, 2007 – Elk Grove 

In Attendance: 

Matt Rivera - Stanislaus Fire

Kent Miller - Stockton Fire

Paul Easter - Modesto Fire

Ron Keefer - Menlo Park Fire

Paul Inouye - Milpitas Fire 

We discussed the two public comment proposals hazmat is submitting for New York. Ron informed us that the south is in concurrence and the proposals were received by ICC.

Ron will send his proposal for treatment systems for all to review and possibly submit at the code hearings after New York.

Topics we need to review and consult with the south before New York; storage/use of liquid oxygen in RCF, recirculating air in spray booths and maximum allowed quantity of diesel for generators (Wash. State).

A new hazmat committee member list needs to be made.
