We discussed the Wednesday meeting with the SFM regarding the code amendment review process. Concern over the lack of a northern co-chair for the H occupancy group remains. Travel to the south for meetings is financially prohibitive and teleconferencing or email alone is not conducive to this kind of project. A meeting to discuss the northern involvement and decide on an action plan will be held on Wednesday, September 28 in Milpitas.

The horizontal separation requirements for control areas in the IFC were discussed. Rationale for 2-hour fire resistance rating for floors of control areas seemed restrictive. Anyone have ideas/comments?
