Senate Bill 575 was passed out of the Senate Education Committee and it is still alive. Many thanks to Dennis Lockard, Newport Beach Fire Department and Gregory White, Vallejo Fire Department for testifying at the committee meeting on our behalf. We still need support for this legislation, so be ready to write letters. As a reminder, Governor Davis vetoed this bill last year.
