The Legislature is once again in Committee and is hearing bills. There has been very little movement on bills being tracked the Fire Prevention Section. We should see action on all of the bills within the next 30 days or so.
One bill we supported as been passed, signed, and chaptered. Assembly Bill 603 by Dutra – Home Furnishings – has been chaptered in the Business and Profession Code in Sections 19089.5, 19161, and 19170.
