Executive Board Meeting

April 23, 2004

San Francisco, CA

The following individuals were present: Mike Stewart, Wes Arvin, Dennis Mathisen, Bruce Lecair, Darren Drake, Doug Williams and Fort Hartsfield

Fort Hartsfield reported on the website advertising and sales and marketing at the 2004 CFPI Conference. South sales increased during the conference while North sales were down from last year. Fort is seeking new vendors for his sales products. He report that the website has received 45,000 hits March 1, 2004.

The board reviewed the Joint NORCAL/SOCAL FPO board meeting held on 3/14/04 in Rancho Santa Barbara, CA. In addition, the board reviewed and approved the minutes from the board meeting conducted in Fairfield, CA. on 3/21/04.

No written communications were received.

Committee Co-chairs – The board discussed potential replacement of co-chairs to Fire Equipment and Devices and Fire Service Education Committees.

Release of Membership Mailing Lists.– The board will not provide the membership list to outside venders as per the policy of organization.

Bank Account Signatures – Two signatures are no longer required on the Organizational Checks.

Proposed Financial Plan Implementation Recommendation – The recommendation was provided to the board by President Arvin. Due to time constraints, the recommendation to approve the financial plan will be reviewed by the board for discussion at a later date.

2004 Budget –To be discusses and finalized at the next Executive Board Meeting
