Executive Board Meeting

May 20, 2005

• Roll Call - The meeting was called to order at 1115 hours.

The following individuals were present: Dennis Mathisen, Angela Giuliani, Darren Drake, Theresa Johnson, Morgana Chan, Doug Williams, Karyn Vaudreil, Sheldon Gilbert, Dan Najera

Steve Hart, Ray Bizal, and Sam Husoe joined the meeting after lunch

The board reviewed the minutes from the board meeting conducted on 4/22/05.

• Unfinished Business

Due to several large items, all items on this list were deferred. 

• New Business

Deputy Chief Sheldon Gilbert gave an overview of CalChief’s legislative process and the process for recommendations for political positions.

Dan Najera from the SFM approached the board about assistance with the upcoming code adoption process. The board committed to help however they can with the process.

Ray Bizal, Steve Hart, and Sam Husoe approached the board about possible legislation regarding water meters fees. The board decided to assist with this issue and develop a sunset committee to work on it.
